I just finished listening to episode 451, and it made me think of episode 450. You mentioned “who cares how long it takes to air up your tire, you can cook dinner or go for a hike while doing it.” While I agree this can be an option, when you have kids with you, especially at the end of a snow run day trip, once we are heading for home, the last thing my girls want is to be sitting still. No matter how well I prepare, they always seem to end up cold, wet and tired. In their minds, I am doing nothing while stopped and waiting for the tires to inflate which in their minds takes “forever”. Granted I have a 50 year old bronco that will never heat up like a newer truck, but just a thought to keep in the back of your mind when the secretary let’s you take out the little one.

Thanks for the response Chris, this is good feedback, and I do completely agree with you. I do leave the truck running when using the 10.6 compressor because it draws so much power, and the heater can be on the entire time that your filling up the tires, so hopefully this will start getting the truck warm, or keep it warm. As for stopping, yes, if we are not moving then we are board, and if the kiddo needs me to stop then I am on their time. It never works out to be fair as you know, haha. Thanks for writing in.
