My first year on YouTube (4th of July)

Happy First Birthday SnailTrail4x4 and happy birthday America. It’s been one year since I uploaded my first video to YouTube and what a rollercoaster it has been. In the beginning, I thought it was going to be a cake walk, but I was terribly wrong.

One of the significant items that this year has taught me is hard work. Not only am I doing SnailTrail4x4 but I also need to do my day job, haha. There were sometimes that I would work way into the night just to get a video done. But it was worth it.

Reading peoples comments, hearing how I was able to help them solve a problem, and motivate them to go out camping have really hit me where it counts.

This might have been my first year on YouTube, but it’s not going to be my last.
